in this corner...

hannah's room

hannah's room has been very fun to put together.  we're creating a functional space she can grow into. she loves colour and lots of it with a splash of bold patterns and rainbows. her room is definitely a colourful space with special magical touches.

in this corner, a huge urbanwalls gold metallic heart hangs above her bed.  dancing in front of the heart is a handmade dreamcatcher we made one day after school. it turned out so adorable, i'll soon be providing a simple how-to on how to make your own.

this is the perfect cozy corner for reading. i love using IKEA picture ledges as book storage. below is a handmade pillow trimmed with playful pom poms.  above hangs my pride and joy, a DIY paper mache unicorn constructed of styrofoam balls, dowels, and paper towel mache. to create the unicorn, i used a little of this tutorial, and a lot of my own improvisation.  it adds a touch of magic to this cozy little corner.
