let's get crafty: Lego man display clipboard. part 2.

in this recent post, i highlighted a quick tutorial on how to make a Lego man clipboard to display favourite characters.

we've since accomplished a lot of work in Hank's room. it's nearly finished with the exception of a few crafty details such as a handmade felt mobile and pom poms on the drapes. the Lego display clipboards have been hung above his dresser as part of a mini wall gallery.  this space makes me super happy! and he certainly loves exploring and playing in his room.

the main feature of his wall gallery is this large poster print from Society6.  i instantly knew i wanted to incorporate this print into his new room when i saw it on the site!  next to the print are the stacked Lego display clipboards, home to 18 of hank's little characters.  to the right of the clipboard is a $5 printable from etsy representing one of our kids' favourite bedtime stories. and finishing the wall gallery is a zinc monogram that was also in his nursery.

hank LOVES animals. this plastic collection of four legged friends from the dollar spot at target are a hit! they're parading under the wall gallery on a picture ledge and often climb down for post-nap play. i kept the styling of his dresser simple with his nursery lamp, some favourite reads, a thrifted wooden toy car, a jar of hotwheels and a geometric rhino.

his full room reveal is coming soon... featuring a secret closet loft hideout!
