let's get crafty: ice cream kit + free printable tags.

Who wouldn't appreciate a kit packed full of everything you need to enjoy a DIY dessert night at home...

My daughter's and I had so much fun building two ice cream kits to use as teachers gifts this year. They are rather quite inexpensive and simple to put together. And you can get as creative as you'd like with what you tuck inside! This would make such an awesome bring along to a small barbecue or potluck, or a thoughtful gift for a friend or neighbour. I might even surprise my own kids with one for the last day of school!

I've designed a set of printables for your kits including a teacher, neighbor and friend gift tag, an ice cream scoop tag and chocolate sauce label.

Here's what my kit includes:

jars: dollar store
test tubes: Michaels dollar bins
wooden spoons: Michaels dollar bins
ice cream scoop: Walmart
napkins: dollar store
treat bags for cone and waffle dish wrapping: dollar store
box for packing: wooden shelf for 90% off at Michaels!

chocolate chips
gummy bears
gummy worms
jelly beans
swedish berries
chocolate sauce
waffle dishes
waffle cones
