The Demand for Quilted Clothing will Continue in 2021

Undoubtedly, the demand for quilted clothes in Canada has increased over the years. The rate at which people are searching for quilted clothing is quite alarming. Quilting was first noticed in 2018 by a few designers, namely, Christian Dior, Calvin Klein, and Isabel Marant.

Some quilted clothing collections popped up at Loewe, Prabal Gurung, and Coach during summer and spring seasons one year later. In 2020, Awake Mode, Burberry, and Chloe showcased quilting during the winters. For many decades, many American designers have applied quilting as an approach to discovering the American identity.

A quilted pattern normally results from sewing more than two fabrics where a thick padded material is generated. To be precise, quilting, a well-known sewing technique, started in Egypt and medieval Europe during the 1800s.

With decades, quilting has developed significantly, becoming a popular way for ladies to showcase their skills. Currently, quilts are integrated with almost all clothing and not just the bed coverings like it was in the past.

Quilting is having a boom in revenue increase due to the democratization of fashion trends. It is, therefore, not surprising that this fast-fashion trend will be adopted in 2021.
